Winter Sidewalk Maintenance
Community Standards Bylaw 14600 requires home owners and tenants to clear snow and ice from every walk and driveway on or beside their property within 48 hours of the last snowfall. The fine for failing to do so is $100 and clean up costs. If you have a concern about a neighbour's uncleared walk please call 311, visit www.edmonton.ca, or consider becoming a Snow Angel and clear snow and/or ice for those not able to do so themselves. To nominate someone who has been your Snow Angel, please email us at [email protected]. They will receive a certificate of recognition, a gift and their name will be put in a draw for a Boston Pizza Gift Certificate. Together, we can have safe sidewalks, clear of ice and snow. |

Coyote Sightings
The City of Edmonton Park Rangers - Wildlife Citizen Services, has be contacted by a couple of citizens in our area regarding coyote sightings. They have received multiple coyote sightings through their complaint line and they wanted to provide Mayfield Community with some information on coyotes. Please click here for an information pamphlet on coyotes. Thank you! Mayfield Community League |
